About me

My name is Rob. I live in Whittier,CA with my partner of 8 years. I love singing various genres of music and also write and record some original tunes. I'm also an e-snips member under the name Qowboy Vern. I started playing drums when I was 11...keyboard & guitar at 16, moved to California from Arkansas in 1980. In 1981 I was already playing drums for 2 punk rock bands in Riverside, CA : mOral SeX (with lead singer & poet Drew Blood) & Death Patrol (goth-punk w/ lead singer Rene Gade). I was only in those bands about a year before I moved to Orange County and joined other strange bands such as Friends Of Bacteria & Autumn In Oz...those were fun & rather experimental times musically...it was the 80's - I also started my band 'Halucination' with a few other guys into electronic & ambient music.
