| 7.1 Why can't I login into my esnips.com account? |
| Check your email account to see if you received an email with the subject "Your eSnips.com account has been disabled". If you have received such an email from us, it means that you can no longer log into your account as it has been permanently disabled.
|
| 7.2 How can I re-activate my account? |
| If your account was disabled due to abuse of the eSnips Terms of Use, you can't reactivate it. If your account was disabled due to suspected copyright infringement, you may provide us with a DMCA compatible counter notification, saying that the copyrighted material was yours or you had a permission to upload it to esnips.com (more details about DMCA counter notification), and, depending on the information you provide, we will consider your request.
|
| 7.3 Why has my account been disabled? |
According to our logs, you have repeatedly posted copyright infringing or abusive material on eSnips. After the first offence, you received warning messages which were generated automatically, and were displayed in a red box in your profile page. The warning informed you of the offending material, and the folder(s) that the material was posted in was immediately disabled.
Since then, your account was further referred to in additional complaints, leaving esnips.com with no choice but to exercise its right to disable your account without prior notice, as stated in the eSnips Terms of Use.
|
| 7.4 What about all my account's content? |
| You can no longer access this content. Please use your personal backups.
|
| 7.5 Can I open a new eSnips account? |
| Yes, you may do that. Be warned that esnips.com is not a place to store or share copyright infringing or abusive material, and if you will repeatedly do that you are exposed to legal action from eSnips Ltd. or from third parties. |
| 7.6 What happens if I can prove that the offending file(s) were taken from another user from esnips.com? |
| It doesn't matter. That person may have had the right to post it. You are considered to be the poster of this file. If you aren't the creator of the content and don't have permission from the creator, don't post it. Find something amazing to create and post that. |
| 7.7 What happens if I have posted these files by mistake? |
| We don't have a way of knowing whether you uploaded a file to esnips.com by mistake or not. Neither do the people who report your folder as containing copyright infringing or abusive material. You must be certain that any file you upload to esnips.com does not infringe others' copyrights and is not abusive. |
| 7.8 What should I do of I think that the account was wrongly disabled? |
If your folder was disabled as a result of a copyright infringement complaint and you are the copyright owner, you may send a counter-notification to notice@esnips.com, containing substantially the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
