Again, I don't agree with some answers but, regarding museums, I spend many a weekend at the Tate... Call me weird if you like ;P

seeing a artwork in photography is a big lie! All have the same size and do not let you understand the real aparence of the artwork. I've seen situations when an art album presented a painting 10 cm large at the same size with a 2m large painting. How can you realy understand the real form if you do not see it for real? That is where the museum has its place.

I love art museums, especially when they have exhibitions on jewellery or just old art from countries or tribes.

i grow up .. visiting museums & galleries , they inspire d me , still do when you look at st john of the cross by DALI @. glasgow kelvinhall .,., i first saw it when i was about 6/7 yr old .. if you cant be inspired by that .,., dont go

It's amazing how much real canvases feel when they are right in front of you; the colour seems to go right through you, a bit like attending an orchestral concert; the bass goes right through your rib cage like standing next to speakers at a club. None of these events can be replaced by digital repreduction. My gallery style is more 'Balhus' 'Sturges' and 'Richard Prince'
